Social Media & Website Specialist

Part-time | Remote Position
📍 Location: Kampala, Uganda
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate is passionate about African storytelling, community engagement, and leveraging digital tools to expand our reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with 2Sistars Media’s goals.
- Manage and maintain social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content.
- Interact with followers and foster an engaged online community.
- Monitor social media analytics and provide insights.
- Update and maintain the 2Sistars Media website.
- Collaborate with the team to promote upcoming events.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in social media management and website maintenance.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Basic proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for literature, storytelling, and community engagement is a plus.
